I have the: Hughes HT 2000 modem, and it's an earlier-version-that came-as part of me upgrading my internet, about 2, or 3 years ago-and it still works fine; and, I purchased a pre-owned computer, a couple of months ago, and it haves-what I believe Wi Fi capability. My question to you is: does my hughes HT2000w-modem have a Wi Fi capability, and if so, have it with out the need of an antenna? and not, can you tell me what specific antenna, i will need?.
Jan 18, 2023, 10:13HT2000w-modem has Wi-Fi capability. However, it does not have external antenna port/s to connect external Wi-Fi antenna/s. To improve Wi-Fi in dead zones, you may need to use access points or Wi-Fi extenders that you can attach to the LAN port.
