Can I use an extender that plugs into an electrical outlet. If so, how do I program it to use with the Exede WiFi modem.
Feb 25, 2022, 13:11Yes you can. If using Tp-Link's, the first thing would be to plug the powerline adapters to the wall socket. Connect the main extender to one of the LAN port with an ethernet cable. To pair the adapter connected to the router and the second adapter on the wall socket, just press the power button starting with the one connected to the router. You can then clone the config from your Wi-Fi router (press WPS button on the router and then the clone button on the adapter on the other end).
