Signal Improvement Solutions (Cellular) |
AT&T Velocity Hotspot (ZTE MF923) is not listed as having an external cellular antenna port in the RFWEL Wireless Device Information Database. This may be either because the device really does not have an external antenna port or RFWEL Wireless Device Specialists have not confirmed the existence and utility of such ports. Please contact us for the latest updates or if you believe this device contains external antenna ports and you would like to learn more about compatible signal improvement solutions. |
Cellular Repeaters/ Bi-Directional Amplifiers |
Because the AT&T Velocity Hotspot (ZTE MF923) is not listed as having an external antenna port so using an RF bidirectional amplifier is the recommended way to boost the signal for this device to extend indoor coverage LTE Antenna Boosters/ RF Bidirectional Amplifiers/ Repeaters/ Relays |

One of our clients use this device in a rural area and AT&T signal weak, I see it does not have a port for external antennae. What do you suggest for a signal booster we could add to his vehicle to upgrade this device's abilities.
May 7, 2019, 06:37You are right. Since this device does not have an external antenna port the best option is a cellular amplifier. Consider the following amplifier https://shop.rfwel.com/drive-4g-m-vehicle-cell-phone-signal-booster-kit/ which supports the frequency bands used by the ZTE MF923 hotspot. You could find other vehicle/mobile amplifiers here: https://shop.rfwel.com/vehicle-rv-amplifiers/ or use the filters here to select different amplifier properties: https://shop.rfwel.com/amplifiers-repeaters/
